Before I close my eyes to the sitting sun,
I must remenience on what I've done.
My life lies before me,
My past only a memory.
I have traveled abroad in my mind,
I have met different people, some
scornful, some kind.
I've ran through feilds,
of daffidils.
I've swam in the ocean
of friendship,
And from the fountain of life
I did sip.
I've looked at life through the
eyes of a child,
I've made my demeanor
meek and mild.
I've been homeless, hungry,
hurting and alone,
I've been blessed with riches
and good family, I've known.
So before I close my eyes to
the sitting of the sun,
I will collect dreams for
tommorrow, and look back
for epaty for whatever I've done.
